BAGHDAD AL RAHMAAN MOSQUE

Al Rahmaan Mosque is located in the heart of Baghdad and has not been completed for over 30 years. It is a over scale building sitting on a 523.000 m2 undeveloped site and this master plan aims to come up with a vision of sustainable neighbourhood development principles and offers a high standart living conditions for 3.000 residential, 800 offices and 700 commercial units with a 5 star hotel. The incomplete mosque will be restored as a social and cultural hub for the locals and visitors that will be a catalyst for the neighbourhood’s future developments.
