EMLAK KONUT ‘BİZİM MAHALLE’ MASTER PLAN

Bizim Mahalle Master Plan covers 1.000.000 m2 site located along Küçükçekme Lake shoreline and neighbouring Marmaray Halkalı Central Station.

The proposed plan aims to have 200.000 m2 of public open space, 3 main plazas and various number of squares, mixed typologies for residential including mid and low rises as well as town houses. %47 of the area is reserved for educational institutions, health service complexes, social and cultural amenites and govermential services. Master Plan offers Transit Oriented Development Principles since it is located right across the Marmaray Halkalı Central Station which connects Asian and European side of İstanbul and when fully operates will be carrying 1 million passengers per day. The existing green spaces are well integrated into the proposal and creates an oasis within the county. Vistas of the site towards the lake is splendid, looking towards one of the ancient sites (Byzantine Lake shore Village / Firuzköy) of İstanbul behind the lake makes the plan quite unique as well as other extra ordinary qualities of it.
