TCDD CER ATELIERS

CER Ateliers is İstanbul’s one of most interesting heritage site among thousands. Having layers of history and civilizations, the site offers Byzantinium, Roman, Ottoman and early Turkish Republic legacy. With an unique approach, the project aims to honour and awakens the potential of the site.

Fatih, old city center of İstanbul has an unmatched silhoutte from the Marmara Sea. Especially around the project site , Byzantine Wall and the 7 Tower Dungeons Castle is so dominant. For that matter the site plan and the new buildings tried to be as silent as possible not to damage the heritage.

The seawall park and the Byzantine Wall park is offering pedestrian access towards the site.
