BABABURNU WATERFRONT PLAN

Bababurnu is one of the best sites among İstanbuls’ coastline. At the tip of the Büyükçekmece Bay, the location offers superior views and it will play a key role when the entire Bay Coastline Master Plan completed. The open space plan offers many functions integrated into the dynamic topography that uses the best out of what location has to offer. 210.000 m2 study area is designed to have plazas, open space entertainment areas, theme parks, recreational areas, sports fields, urban agriculture as well as retail and cultural buildings. When all phases of the plan completed Büyükçekmece County and İstanbul will have over 3.500.000 m2 waterfront park.

Bababurnu plan is designed to be an attractive open space destination for the residents of the county and west İstanbul population.

Every quater of the park has different functions. Biosphere, viewing terraces, sport fields, beaches, retail, restaurants and cafes and theme parks are only few of them.

When completed Büyükçekmece Bay will have a world class sea wall and Bababurnu will be the anchor point.
